Not really that he's not fan "friendly". I think he's just a very quiet and reserved person, which may come off as arrogant. When I met him in Edmonton he talked to me for 15-20 minutes and we shot the shit about lots of different things aside from bodybuilding

As for those 15th place guys. .. a lot of them have huge local followings and are personal trainers. Take a guy like me... never placed higher than 2nd in a regional show... and I have swayed tons of people over the years to use various products I have been behind. I would rather have 10 guys at the npc level and pay them a total of 5k a month in supplements (costing me what 2-3k max?) Than pay Dex 10k ... which is prob close to what he is getting... ROI... these npc athletes will prob bring in a result of 20-25k more on sales a month on total. .. will Dex bring in 100k+ more in sales???

I totally understand where you guys are coming from. But if you could, name me 10 NPC guys right now that have sponsors and have taken their sponsor to the next level. I know In my area , there isn't a one that has contributed to sales of products. The biggest companies right now, like mutant(rich isnt an NPc competitor), bpi ,optimum,bsn,muscle tech,dymatize, nutrex etc.. Weren't built by npc athletes. Louis, how come species doesnt take your own advice about signing more top npc guys to promote your brand?

Hanshaw, antoine before he turned pro, PJ braun, BSA was with optimum for quite a while, Trey Brewer was with BSN. All that companies care about is how many people they can reach.. ROI. If someone is popular and gets them views and promotes their product in a positive way, they're more likely to be signed.

I just started. We signed richard williams and are in the process of signing another top 15 usa guy. I want to have 10... just takes time w getting everyone lined up w all the travel people do in the company plus due diligence.

And no one said these companies are smart. They are driven by egos. They think they need pros. They think that will sell. It isn't the same ROI... I have seen npc guys rock huge numbers bc they hustle where pros do not

Pakman does way more vids and social networking then Dex plus Ben pak has his seminars around the world so I think his sponsers would get Way more exsposre from Pakman . And with BEN WHITE and MHP there the whole powerlifting/ IFBB pro fusion that he gives them

DUSTY HANSHAW would have to be one of the biggest names on YouTube if you go on downloades apart the top Olympia guys and antoine was the same

After muscletech he was with met rx for a little while and then the last few years he's had no sponsor

Do we know any of these guys ROI's ? like I said I agree with signing up and coming and or popular people for your company . But top NPC guys that actually have a great following is hard to come by.. Antoine was a steal for Universal, but I can guarantee you they have to pay a nice dime for him now... And he's worth every penny .. He is one of a kind.. The only person from your above list I will accept is Hanshaw. .. I'm assuming he helps the brand. Did PJ help Species a lot , if so why is he no longer with them? And what is BSA ROI right now? Not being mean or sarcastic here, Does anyone buy species because BSA said so? I'm sure there are some.. Hell, I sell species here at the nutrition store I work for.. I'm a Free investment.. I enjoy the product. Dave Palumbo is the reason I tried the brand and got it in our store .

BSA is with Species? Seriously? Talk about an investment that's not paying off. The only time I ever see BSA is when he comes to post a pure contest pic or something...otherwise he is 100% out of sight, out of mind.

I would insist he maintain a blog, YouTube channel and/or a Q&A.
