I can definitely say Lorrie has been a huge help!! I'm happy to know that the classes are a bit larger - I didn't want to be a part of a small group on stage by any means. And by meeting others that are going to be at the same show through forums- I am definitely a little more at ease now!
Thank you (photo shoot) I think I might be more nervous about that than the overall competition at this point!

Almost down to the crunch time "8" week mark... feeling the pressure a bit but I'm enjoying every minute of it!! With my two kids back in school starting next week- it will allow me to really nail down my 2x a day gym visits which love to wear me out & gives me plenty of recovery time between 8 am - 3 pm!!!! This ends up being almost perfect timing
Finally down under 13% BF - time to tweek the diet a bit more and kick up the cardio even harder
Back & shoulders have finally started to show definition so I can say I'm comfortably 'balanced' going in to this. I need to now focus on really trimming and toning. This also gives me the time I will need to work on posing. I have a few veterans that are going to be available to help which I feel might help when it comes to getting more than one perspective & approach to the stage. I'm anxious to get started but wanted to focus a bit more on leveling out a few things at the gym before adding the extra worry point in there!
Posting some new pics from the photo shoot as well- depleted water and carbed up but I don't feel I did enough of either to be honest. Need to work on how to get a good pump before hitting the stage too... was running around trying to find things at the gym at the last minute - could have done a much better job. Overall - I'm satisfied because I still have great shots but I also can tell what I need to work on going in to the competition. A good practice round if nothing else!!1175030_662343673775815_872578534_n.jpg1094936_662343910442458_807432675_n.jpg526502_662343777109138_1258988746_n.jpgLast edited by J04L08; 08-26-2013 at 01:59 PM.

Looking good! Nice progress. I'm having my body fat % checked on Friday. I hope to be right "down" there with you! I too cannot believe how fast the time is going by....it will be here before we know it.
