Haven't seen it yet. Have followed the original manga series "Evangelion" for a while back in the days. Big fan of Kaiju also ..... Will try and go see it.
In other news. Godzilla's promotional paints have been seen already in Cali ... As they prepare for comic con. Toho says they're backing everything up. SonTHIS SHOULD BE A REAL GODZILLA MOVIE lol.

Solid B-
Fanboys will love it...
Mainstream will be confused by it...
For a full spectacle...see it on iMax 3D... Del Toro's mind can be seen all thru out the movie...But some might argue...once u see 1 Del Toro movie...you've seen em all...
I got close friends covering the upcoming ComiCon in LA....Wil update with exciting Godzilla news.

As we are all entitled to our own opinion, I was thoroughly pleased. I did not want to see this movie and only saw it because "This is the End" was sold out. I LOVED IT AS DID EVERYONE I was with... even the girls! The Drs provided great comic relief as well. One thing I will say, perhaps we all liked it much more because we went in with low expectations (I have never even seen a commercial for it). As for the CGI, some of the best I have ever seen.

Saw it yesterday...I went full nerd on this one.
At first I was skeptical but then saw this was written and directed by Guillermo del Toro and I was hooked. CG was off the chart!

Visual Effects in this movie is off-the-chart. The battle starts since the beginning of the movie. Hong Kong Battle is f'n AWESOME. Story is ok. And you have to watch it in 3D. If you watch the movie trailer and you like it, you must see it because this type of movie is better watch it at the big screen rather than watch it on your TV at home. Anyway, I LOVE THIS MOVIES. SO AWESOME. I would go see it again.

I also appreciated the great visual effects in the movie. One of the owners from Powerhouse thought it was absolutely terrible. When I was walking out of the movie, two guys who saw it together were talking about it. One guy said, "man, that was awful!" His friend said, "Are you kidding, I thought it was awesome!" LOL
