Sunday 10/6 happy Sunday everyone. Thank you for following along so far. For a few weeks I haven't posted anything because I was having a hard time with my job and mental focus. As I mentioned in my spotlight interview in august I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 14, I am now 31.
Last Sunday I had a minor seizure due to missing a few doses of meds from falling asleep before taking them and didn't realize it. I had been so tired from work and training that I started to notice my brain chemistry wasn't normal. Lack of rest ,stress and of coarse the missed doses of meds triggered the seizure. This is the first time I have experienced this during a prep.
i recovered quickly this time from it and still was able to stay on schedule. Usually from past seizures it wipes me out for days when they are more intense. All I want to do is sleep. My seizures are controlled for the most part. Haven't had a petite mal seizure in three years. So now I'm feeling completely rested back to normal.

Happy Thursday 10/10..... Tomorrow marks my 6 week out mark.i haven't had the smoothest prep this time around as far as how I feel but this is a mental game and you can get anywhere and achieve anything you want when you allow your mind to go beyond that place you think is your limit. Congrats on JOTM!
Glad you're feeling better. 6 weeks out, not much longer. I have found that contest preps are a lot like pregnancies. No two are alike. Great attitude with focusing beyond what you think your limit is.2016 RX Member of the Year & March 2015 Member of the Month

10/12 happy Saturday .... I gotta say doing the stairs is my favorite cardio equipment to use. I have noticed with training legs twice a week how my legs have changed in detail. I have never had a problem with my legs and putting on size they respond to anything. It's hard for me to not let them get too big and getting them lean. Just my thought for the day. Xo Nik

Thurs 10/17 off day from weight. Got cardio in and done. Had a two and half hour deep tissue massage last that was desperately needed after my back and shoulder training. Was feeling constriction in the lats, teres minor and scaps. Such a huge difference this makes. Tomorrow makes my 5 wk out point from nationals. Have a great day everyone. Xo blessings

Tues 10/22 happy Tuesday... I have had a few nights that I haven't been able to sleep very well. But I know it will pass. If this is something that any of you face during prep, Mentally you need to realize that it will get better and keep moving forward. Have a great day. Many blessings xo nicole

Just wanted to say Hi! Your physique is amazing, definitely looking forward to seeing contest pics in a few weeks! Low carb works better for me as well, I notice more cravings as well when I have more of them. Have a great day!
