I would like to see:
· What judges are really looking for in a non-pro figure competitor? Why the criteria seems inconsistent
· Key tips on how to keep your mind right post competition to make the gains you need. (after dieting down for so long….going in to eating more for gains and not feeling like you’re doing something wrong)
· Pro’s and con’s to working individually or with a team
· Is “Metabolic Damage” or “neuroedocrineimmune dysfunction” something that a competitor should be concerned about? How do you know if it’s just fatigue, or burn out?
Thank you!

1. The older competitor and menopause....does it effect us different with larger muscle mass/lower body fat and if so how?
2. Breast implants and competing/lifting weights. Different implants, different placements, working out after surgery, etc.
3. Where should I compete with my body type/genetics? Which am I best suited for (bikini, figure, physique, fitness, bodybuilding) and how to choose.
4. How workouts and diets are different and the same for each division.
5. How to tailor your workouts to balance out an unbalanced physique (i.e. more muscle on top than bottom or more muscle on bottom half than top).
6. What do aesthetics have to do with it? (it's not about just getting the muscle and getting lean, it's about bringing in the entire package and being aesthetically pleasing).
Those are my ideas, sorry if some have already been done-I don't know if I have read thru all the old articles.
Sorry, forgot my email address [email protected]Last edited by wildfyre14; 08-02-2013 at 12:09 PM.

1) Is there really "politics" that play into competing and what are they?
2) A play by play of why and how peak week affects different division competitors?
3) How to avoid the big "binge" after competition?
4) How to pick the right level competition? And when do you know you to go up to the next level? I have competed for 3 years and qualified my 1st year for a National Show but I have postponed hitting a Level VI.
5) As I lean down and stop having my period I get anxious of how long I have not been menstruating. Is it harmful to not have your period for an extended amount of time?

Hi I'm Christina! My email address is [email protected].
A few topics I would like to see include:
1. Putting on muscle/weight (women-specific), to include specifics on time of day to eat, how late to eat into the evening/before bed, how often to be eating, putting on body fat% (if wanted) without going into excess. This is difficult!!
2. How to pick and enter your first competition? Possibly include: wbff vs ibff, what to expect as an amateur, the need for a coach, how to find a coach, equipment/accessories needed.
3. Fitness modeling: how to break into fitness modeling, how to pose for fitness modeling, how to bring to life the necessary characteristics of a fitness model, and how to prep for first photo shoot.
4. Lesson plan for first competition: knowing when to "start", how to know when you're ready, meal plan/guide for getting competition ready (more than just 10 days out)
Regardless if my entry wins, I would love to know more about these topics!!
