Hello everybody! Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself; this is my first post. Look forward to getting know lots of lovely ladies around here.
im yossy, I am a NPC bikini competitor.
im currently training for my first show of the year, which is my second show ever. I will be on stage at the team edge muscle contest on feb. 9th. Very excited and can't wait to be on stage again. Below a little about me.
In the past 2 years I have created a passion in working out and eating clean. I decided to fully commit to my training and eating habits by joining Team edge and competing For the first time.
I participated in my first competition on dec.1st 2012 @ the NPC EXCALIBUR. Did not place top 5, but I got second call outs.
I'm a pediatric RN and a proud military wife with a great passion in fitness. I am currently studying to become a NASM certified personal trainer.
i don't have a big transformation story, but I did train my booty for my first show (18 weeks)

Hello there to all you strong, fit, courageous and beautiful fitness ladies . I am a fitness freak who has always thought of competing, but it isn't the exercise part that intimidates me...it's the dieting part.
I'll post in another section about my dieting problems.
At age 45 ( you guys can see my photos on my album and tell me that fitness isn't GOOD for us...as it keeps us ladies young and beautiful and has us carry ourselves with a certain grace and class) I'm very proud to say that I am at the strongest I've ever been and the fittest. So many women I know fear weights. When I was 21, I was a size 4 and 105 pounds. Now I am a size 1 and 118 pounds. And that came through years of weight training.
I wonder if it's too late for me to enter a competition?
Anyways, I look forward to posting here and sharing with like-minded hardcore fitness women!

Welcome!
I entered my first figure competition at age 43 and took first place in the Open and Masters. I'm now 45 and have 3 shows under my belt and have no intention of stopping due to my age. There are plenty of other masters competitors here. So no, it's not too late for you.2016 RX Member of the Year & March 2015 Member of the Month

Welcome to Rx! You're never too late to enter a contest!!!
I came back in 2006 at 43 years young, after not competing for 11 years and took home 6 trophies that weekend. I competed both in Figure and BBing (was trying to decide where my body would fit better) and won 2 overalls and took my classes in all classes I competed in.
In 2011, at the age of 48, I turned pro in WP.
You can do anything you set your mind to!
