Where to improve for next show? Weak or lagging areas?
I am currently in Okinawa, Japan and won the lightweight class at the last contest we had. I am going to do the Stingrey Classic in Hawaii to try to qualify for nationals, and move on from there. I came in right at 154 at weigh-ins. I'm looking to bulk through Dec and then start prep on Jan 1 (about 15 weeks). I'd like to be in middleweight for the Hawaii show and probably compete in Nationals at welterweight.
I'd love some feedback on what to bring up and what you see as my lagging areas.Last edited by BurnsTACP; 08-18-2013 at 12:49 AM.

You need to work on your posing to get to the National stage. U really don't have any pronounced weaknesses. You just need to add overall size to move up to the WW class. Don't give up your conditioning for size when it comes to show time. Let the scale fall where ever.

Thanks for the feedback. I work on my posing weekly with my coach, Zoa Linsey. Moving into WW won't be an issue as I struggled pretty hard to drop into LW for this show. I agree with you on conditioning too. Weight class is definitely second to bringing the best package I can to the stage. Always nice to be at the top of the weight class though if possible. Thanks again!
