i've come back to this thread to look at your pics a few time now bro. you look really awesome. can you tell us basically what kind of training you have found to work best for you? specifically, what do you do for legs? that side shot of your leg looks especially great.
hope these last few days are going well!!

Sam,
Thank you for looking at the pictures, and for the kind words. As far as my leg training goes, What I have found over the years, is high repetitions with about 70% of my max. I usually do three exercises for quads, and four exercises for hamstrings. There are different thoughts and ideas on hamstring training. Some people believe that low repetition sets for hamstrings works best. But with me I find high repetitions works better for me on all leg exercises. This followed by in-place barbell lunges. Or parking lot walking lunges.
Here a sample of what I did just the other day, on my last leg session for this competition.
Start with Upright bike 20 minutes warm-up.
Leg extensions 4 sets of 30 to 50 reps
Leg press 3 sets of 30 reps
Reverse Hack squats (facing in at the pad) wide stance 3 sets of 30reps
Seat leg curls 3 sets of 20reps
Stiff leg barbell deads 3 sets of 20 reps
Lying leg curl 3 sets of 20 reps
Adductor and Abductor machine 2 sets of 50 reps on each machine.
Grand Finale parking lot lunges 4 sets 40 yards
I know it's a lot of volume. Again this is what I have found works for me.

thank you for the detailed outline. it took me a long time to figure out the high volume leg plan, but once i started, i began seeing results. man, i imagine those parking lot lunges are killer at the end haha. i haven't gone quite as high in my reps, working more in the 16-20 range. i'll have to work up to this and see how it works for me.
thanks again and best of luck this wk. hope everything goes as planned. go get it!!

Bryan Barth 7 days out post training pics!!
With just a few more days to go to the biggest North American to date. Gary Udit has put together another great show its no wonder so many travel from all over to compete there. Lots of talent with guys like Kevin Jordan and Brad Rowe in the mix. I know I gotta be on my game and bring my best. These guys are great! I'm looking forward to standing on stage with them.
I wanna say thanks for all you,for the great feed back, and positivity on my first set of pic I posted. You guys keep the motivation high.
Here are some pics from after training seven days out at from North Americans. I figured I gave you guys some morning shots of me pretty flat. So here are some midday pics after training with little bit more water, some food in the system, and a lot fuller.
See y'all on the other side.
