He will not sport this on stage at all. This is just for contest prep purposes only. He is just being lazy and taking it easy for a few days. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. He deserves it after all the hard work and dedication he puts in.

Beards are pretty bad ass. I sport one from time to time and always think it makes me look super mean and hard edge (well more than I already do with the mean scowl I have on my mug for the most part). I don't think he'll sport it on stage but like Aceto said, it's very Rocky IV. I like it. Beards and scars FTW!
