Questions about U.S.B.F.
So this is an interesting federation.
Unlike all other American federations they only do urine testing unlike the others that use polygraph.
Do they use a simple steroid panel or do they opt for the very expensive full WADA testing? I ask because there is a big difference. With the first one can use supplements such as PES erase but with the second even over doing caffeine will lead to a fail.
Also how well are the contests run and is judging fair?
It would be a fair trek for me from NC but it could be worth it if it's a great fed.
Thanks for any replies.

I competed in a few USBF shows back in '09-'10. Aside from one particular contest (that never ran again) where the promoter's girlfriend and training clients all won their classes (the idiot MC was nice enough to give full backgrounds on every competitor, even noting who stayed over at who's house the night before the show -lol), the other ones were very well run. Judging seemed fair, and there was a great feeling of fun and cammeraderie despite fairly sizable turnouts.
I don't know about the testing though as it's always in the promoter's hands. At the one contest I wasn't a fan of, there was no testing whatsoever. At the others, I was subejcted to Urine tests only. One thing I realize though is that it is a financial issue. When I went to the Wnbf, I was subjected to Polys before and Urinalysis after.

Bro don't do the usbf the judging will have you going crazy it's all about who trains who. The one show I did with them they did a Urine analysis of selected competitors. I don't recommend this federation at all

Thank you very much for the replies.
It may not be worth a 6-8 hour drive each way for me in that case!
