What Multi-Vitamin do you take?
Hello Guys,
Was curious to see what Multi-vitamin, you guys take since I am considering in purchasing one, but do not know at all. I pretty much have tried them all, but was wondering for someone that is a bodybuilder, might as well hear from those that might have one they live by religiously. Please also tell me the reason why you take it. Thanks a million.

I use Dualtabs by Twinlab. I like the time release feature that helps to clear the food and then drops the nutrients in last. The dosage is good and is intended to be taken daily in two separate servings so you will always have vital nutrients at work for you.
Dualtabs Description from TWINLAB
A sustained release bi-layer mega vitamin and mineral formula. Each tablet is composed of two separated layers. One contains fat soluble vitamins and sustained release, water soluble vitamins. The other layer contains rapid release minerals and digestive aids. This prevents the interaction of incompatible vitamins and minerals for maximum stability and quality.

If you don't take a greens supplement the Alive multi is also a good choice. It is a combination of a mutli and superfoods. A lot of bang for the buck. $22.99 on Allstarhealth. Sam's Club used to carry this for an even cheaper price but unfortunately stopped selling it.

Alive! is a Mega Nutrient Whole Food Energizer containing more life-giving nutrients from more sources than any other supplement. Contains: Vitamins, Minerals, Amino Acids, EFA's, Fruits, Vegetables, Green Foods, Myco Nutrients, Antioxidants and other specialty nutrients.

There are some really good ones out there to take. I would suggest taking one that is complete and full of natural components. All natural is the way to go. I would stay away from Centrum or anything like that. I think you should also consider taking fish oil as well. It really helps increase brain activity.

I haven't take an multi-vitamin in about 28 years. Back then, I suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome, and my alternative medicine doc had me take mega-doses of many vitamins. There was no multi-vitamin available that had dosages nearly as high as he wanted me to take. So, I buy individual B-complex, C, D, Beta Carotene, E, etc.
So far, my long-term experiment in vitamin toxicity is a success (meaning I have had no negative side-effects from such high doses).
