On a side note what in the blue fuck is going on with Kai's head?
Confucius say...
A ripped guy who eats a pizza, then does an hour of cardio is still ripped.
A fat guy who eats a pizza, then does an hour of cardio is still fat.

Just checked the comparison photos on MD....funny enough they left out Phils second round of comparison shots.
Someone should mention it in the MD PLay by play thread....I would but I'm banned from that site so I can't stir shit up.Last edited by MASKOAA; 09-28-2013 at 02:38 AM.

I don't agree with Phil being pulled but regardless no one was touching him tonight. The best story of this Olympia is Dennis Wolf. So happy for him finally nailing size and conditioning.

Dumbest logic ever of having to knock the champ out philosophy. No, all that's required is that you be better than the champ. If that means 1 point better then its one point better.
There are no points for legacy. Each competition is a new competition and the past should never enter into it. It's logic like this that keeps subjective sports a yawn to the mainstream. People want competition.
For those of you that will bring up boxing not being a yawn to the mainstream... no one tunes in to watch it go to the score card.

I'm not a fan of Phil Heath in any respect. Having said that, I didn't see anything improper at all about excluding him from further comparisons. He was the best guy on stage. What would be served by continuing to work him once the panel was decided on his placement?
A lot of things have changed in competitive bb'ing over the last 20-25 years, but this isn't one of them. Like Triple H said, brief comparisons for a clear Mr. O are very well established.

Are you talking about how you wish the competition were run, or how you think it actually is run?
If the former, I think a lot of people agree with you, including myself.
Regrettably, there absolutely are points for legacy awarded to reigning and/or repeat Mr. Olympia winners. This isn't auto racing. This is purely subjective. There are no objective standards in competitive bodybuilding and there never have been. Some opinions are widely held amongst judges, but opinions nonetheless.
