Your quads look better. I can't wait till we can do a side by side at the same bodyfat. Then it will be fair!

Oh and you can blast on almost 2g of test and be healthy. Or maybe bloods and bp lie?

    Split:

    Day 1
    AM: back
    PM: Hamstrings

    Day 2
    AM: chest/shoulders
    PM: Arms

    Day 3
AM: Legs (10-12 sets hams, 8set quads)
    PM: Back

    Day 4 - Off

    Day 5
    AM: arms
    PM: chest/shoulders

Never more than 3 days in a row. so 3 then 1 off then repeat.
This is the kind of routine J. Parrillo had the upper crust guys he worked with doing when I worked for him back in the day. Only difference, hit all body parts in 3 days, then either day off or repeat if they felt good.

Would love to hear more about his training and principles. There are so many varying opinions on frequency and volume.

One can hope. I am realistic and know that I have a lot of work to do. I may be bigger than some here but they are much more conditioned and have more consistency than I have had.

One step at a time man. Your ability to transform in a short period of time is pretty amazing.

    Back this am

Bb one arm rows- 25lb plates for better ROM, 2 sets of 10 per arm, then 1 all out set per arm

Backwards seated lat pull down- 3 sets of 10 with chest flared up to kill lats

Supported rows- elbows high and pronated hands for rhomboids and lower traps, 4 sets of 8

Rack pulls mid shin- sets of 3 till cannot get 3 reps. Haven't done these in a while! Got 585x2

Back extensions- 2 sets till failure

Hanging to stretch lats with a 45lb plate. Hung for around 40sec.

I really like those backwards pulldown. You can get a much deeper contraction on those compared to regular.

Ever try supersetting those with wide grip heavy partials pulldowns facing normally?

I agree because of the arch in your back you get a crazy contraction. I am basically following all my mountaindog workouts so I only superset on arm day. Training 2x a day is already pretty taxing. But I have back again on Thursday so maybe I will try it! It apparently is working for you.

these 2 a day workouts is where your home gym will be a lifesaver not having to get out and drive to the gym twice a day

I just think its cool to work the deep contraction on the reverse seated, then turn around and work the top portion with heavy weight. John talked about it at one point, I can't remember when.

I just think it feels "right". Get a huge pump from the reverse...then stretch it out on the heavy partials.

Actually been doing these at a local gym. Onky because they have certain machines. Like you I have shoulder issues so no benching. All hammer strength machines.
