I do and so is staying stress free. Remember stress raises cortisol and insulin.
I can't hang with them either but numbers mean nothing to me. Like you I lift for looks alone. I don't have to beat a log book I need to stimulate the muscle. Some days I go really light and just focus more on time under tension or higher reps. Truth is this whole off season I have barely deadlifted at all.

Hamstrings on Saturday:
Lying leg curl 4 sets of 8-10, 5 sec eccentric, 5 sec contraction
Supersetted with:
Glute Bridges with Barbell, Medicine ball between Knees* 4 sets till failure
Wide stance Squats* 5 sets*20/15/12/10/10
DB Romanian Deadlifts* 3 sets of 15
Standing leg Curl* 2 sets of 8 per leg
High foot placement leg press*20/15/10alternating legs without rest in between

Chest/Triceps on Sunday:
Incline Barbell Press 5 sets of 8-10, sets 1-2 have a 1 sec eccentric, sets3-5 have a 3-4sec eccentric
Behind the back banded DB flat bench 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Supersetted with:
Behind the back banded flyes
Smith bench 3 sets of 8-10, on last rep hold contraction for 10-15sec
Behind the back banded cable flyes 2 sets till failure
Rope extensions 3 sets of 12-16 reps + band isometric hold at contraction
Single arm db extension + bench dips till failure 3 sets
