Fast and Slow Metabolisms: Fact or Fiction?
The list of overused or exaggerated terms in bodybuilding and fitness stretches far out of sight. On the same token, there are certainly terms which are underused and unappreciated as well. These terms can be seen being applied all the way from a grandmother who is attempting to lose five pounds to Ronnie Coleman fighting for his ninth Olympia victory

These freaky bodybuilders are genetic freaks. Look at them at a young age, and you can tell they can eat a house and burn through calories. I think its definitely a genetic thing

I agree. Genetics are king of all bodybuilding success factors. You bring up a good point about when they are young. Evan was a fat kid growing up whereas Phil looked like a good physique competitor before he touched a weight. However, I would bet that Evan requires more food than Phil. So the only other factor besides genetics that could account for Evan being a fat kid and Phil looking ripped and lean as a kid is appetite.

I think Human physiology is very very similar. Best thing is to be honest with yourself. Get some scales, a calculator and start recording everything you eat.

Always seems to me that once people are monitored in a controlled environment they turn out to be exactly the same as the next person. Its the variables in peoples day to day life that make the difference to there body's. Cant possibly access this without every minute detail from each individual being recorded.
