So, this is my training partner at the Tahoe show where he placed 9th at his first MPD show. He also did the San Francisco show a couple weeks ago and took 4th he looked about the same at both shows. Just looking for some feed back and improvements.
Thanks!

Thanks Tammy, anything he can tone down in particular? He wants to stay in MP as he does not want to be as big as a bodybuilder? What about conditioning wise?

His obliques are way over developed. Tell him not to use any resistance for his abs. He needs to relax his arms and not spread his lats so much, this would be better and easier than losing back muscles.

Cool Jude thanks a bunch! Any other ways to get the obliques smaller? We stopped using weights awhile ago just bodyweight crunches and leg raises. Should decline work be cut out too? Thanks again!

Just do the up and down motion without any rotation for crunches and leg raises.
