I tore mine and with the direction of Dr. William Stetson the pioneer of shoulder scoping opted to join the Y and swim my ass off for 3 months. MRI afterwards showed total healing.
Meanwhile I worked legs, torso, and arms on machines.

Low weight, high rep exercises to get the blood in there and reduce inflammation.

Low/mod weight, with VERY slow repetitions. Maybe 10 second reps.

yeah ease up on the weight, dont do what I the king of idiots did and continue training heavy with low reps and mask the pain with pain killers,i ended up having surgery on both shoulders, twice on each left and right shoulder.other surgeries include, left knee 1 operation,,right knee 3 operations, the third happened to be today, and twelve weeks ago had elbow surgery, and also ive had hernia surgery, and the doctors also want to do back surgery to repair my discs.the moral of the story when you feel pain ease up and increase the reps and be smart about things.

Provo,
Get a mobilitywod voodoo floss band. wrap it up in your delts and start preforming cuban presses and re-wrap it.. 3x a week work on rehabbing it. Don't take multiple doses of ibuprofen (cox- inhib.)
I would take 2-3 weeks off delt/chest training and focus on legs, back. train back 2-3x a week rowing movements help the scapula..

In addition to the tips provided thus far I'd suggest a few additional things:
Don't train hard. As long as you do you'll keep inflammation stirred up and the shoulder not only may not heal, it may get worse.
Less is better. See point one.
Don't rest it. Adhesions could develop which could take months to work out.
Strongly consider a topical anti-inflammatory. I used E-pharm Joint Force.
And lastly, with all due respect to other posters, don't let the surgery survivors these sorts of threads invariably attract wig you out.
