If some guy asks you that, you better believe he is feeling very insecure! Take it as a complement ladies! As I know you do

It's beyond me why so many people invest so much energy fabricating stories and masterminding sarcastic comebacks in order to respond to a very legitimate question.
Bodybuilders are NOTORIOUS for using just about anything they can get their hands on. Our reputation precedes us. Taking offense to such an Inquiry is hypocrite.
If someone asks me if I use, my response would be:
ME??HELL NAW!!!
lol

I would probably say because some of us have regular jobs and or a social setting where NOT answering would lead to speculation that we otherwise could not afford to have. So while it's not guaranteed that speculation is never going to be an issue, the odds of it happening go up if we dont answer or we try to play it off.

In an ignorant society, lying is almost always the best option.
About anything.

what are you talking about?
If someone asks you if you take, and you do.. you should say yes. As a natural, I hate it when 'users' say they don't use or are natural when they are really not.
This gives us naturals false hope, makes many jealous when they really shouldn't be.. and it is an ego thing. If you are using an edge, you shouldn't lie because it makes naturals feel 'less' and makes them feel like their hard work isn't paying off.. even though it is..

Just lie like everyone else does - and then, they'll know you are lying lying just like everyone else is.

Hey. I think I could have misunderstood this thread.
If it is because of the legal implications you won't reveal what you are taking, then by all means that is fine.?
But someone like me, who trains and diets just as hard, asks you a question like 'what are you on?'.. and you are comfortable that I won't snitch you out, then I expect a truthful answer..
I remember when I was 16, there was a kid my age.. And everyone knew he was taking, and my friend asked him what are you taking he said 'chicken breast, and lots of protein shakes..'
something like that pisses me off.. but again.. if you are scared of legal implications, that is completely fine and I apologize on that front..

No need to apologize. It's a discussion. I think we're talking for any circumstance or reason. You've brought up a very valid point. Legal consequences aside, I think most people should tell the truth and hopefully, they would more often than not. But that's just my opinion.

From reading both your posts it seems to indicate that you feel you are entitled to the truth. Im sorry my friend, if you are asking something personal like that, regardles of what you know or dont know, you are entitled to nothing that someone does not want to give you freely. If you asked me if I used, and I didnt answer or told you a lie (which I wont) buddy thats what you're going to have to take. The reasons do not matter.

You are right in a sense..
To accurately represent what I am pissed about, is something like this:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2a4W8yUx0tY"]YouTube - Gustavo Badell is 100% Natural[/ame]
Someone making themself feel superior even though they know they are not. An egotistical problem for sure. Like people on steroids in natural competitions, or people like the chicken breast guy at my gym.

Some competitors have said to me that they use. They told me privately that they admit to it and did a lot of research and careful trial and error. They also said they did not want to be hypocrites. There is also a difference beten using and abusing. The trick question is if anyone would admit to abusing AAS and HGH.
With regard to the question of how to handle it, It depends on the question and the context of how it is asked. If they are facing a law enforcement officer then common sense would tell you what to say and what NOT to say.
