Aragon's Research Review
Anyone familiar with Alan Aragon's research review newsletter? He does a summary of latest laboratory, clinical and epidemiological studies related to nutrition concerns of BBrs. Is it worth the $10 month? I am getting a Masters degree in Nutrition and also want it for learning more in depth. Please no broscience remarks that research doesn't matter: I know the science doesn't always apply but i want to learn more of the science before I dismiss it :-)

^^
Thanks for the link. Aragon is interesting. He did a nice job deconstructing the Phinney article and shows why it is important to read the full article. I wish they were debating it in terms of a pre-contest diet. I read his sample research review and I am going to sign up. Solution, I have read lots of your posts here and agree with your point of view and appreciate your knowledge.
What are your thoughts on the ISSN? My gym asked me to be a p/t diet coach and I was looking into its certification. I noticed its position on high frequency meals was debunked by Aragon and they seem to overstate the usefulness of HMB. Yet, Antonio's Essentials of Sports Nutrition was excellent. Is the ISSN certification worth it? I would do the $129 "Sports Nutrition Specialist."
