Today's experiment:

1 scoop NOW cookies n cream protein
1tbsp sugar cookie pb lean mix
Sprinkle of sf/ff cheesecake pudding mix
Unswt vanilla almond milk

Blend with the hand mixer and microwave-I could have taken it out sooner but I can't see into this microwave (it's way up over the stove) so I checked it and put it back for what was prob ten seconds too long-no biggie! I'll fix it for next time! The sugar cookie flavor was lost in this mix but the peanut taste was very present-I liked it!

Try adding an egg white next time and a touch of greek yogurt (instead of almond milk) and use water to make a cake batter consistency before microwaving, bet it comes out a little better.

You know, this was the first time I've used almond milk instead of water for a microwaved bowl cake type thing-I actually contemplated liquid egg whites since I just got some from EW Intl but decided I'd start simpler and progress from there-just a matter of time before I'm trying the pb lean, oatmeal, and whites for a pancake

i would highly suggest not using oats, because it will dry out the final product in panackes or baking (and flatten it) you would be better with e a bit of pancake mix or complete pancake mix (add water only) will rise 10x as much.

Since you live in Cali. sprouts or walmart have a good selection for GF pancake mixes. the bisquick gf mix is probably te best one I have used. And it cheapest at walmart.

I have not tried that one yet! I saw it in a grocery store before I left NC-I'm not a huge pancake person so I haven't tried it but you know, I do love me some biscuits-might have to try a gf bisquick


I do want to make a trip to Lo Carb U in Hollywood some time-maybe after xmas with some holiday money-lord knows I may try to buy the store

For the GF bisquik instead of cutting in shortening use cold coconut oil.
