Man, the start of this week has been tough, I had to will myself to get up this morning. My shoulders are so sore from yesterdays workout, but I def see increases in my strength over the last month or so. I was also having issues with feeling jittery from the pre-workout I was taking, but having something on my stomach (in this case a tb of PB) helps. This morning I did legs, heavy weight, with lower reps and drop sets of some of the exercises. It felt good, but I'm sure I'll feel it in the morning. :-) hope everyone weeks is starting off great.

CARDIO - I would suggest you do 45 minutes fasted cardio 2x per week on stepper or stepmill and 30 minutes hiit on incline treadmill 2x per week.
TRAINING - high step ups, sumo squats, lunges, leg curls, weighted hip thrusts, weighted kickbacks and don't forget to hit your calves. Also work on your delts. As for abs, do a lot of leg raises, knee raises and crunches.
Best of luck and will continue to help out whenever I can. Continue posting your progress here, look forward to seeing it.

Omg I did chest and triceps with my boyfriend today, holy cow. I am so sore. I lifted a lot more than I normally do and I also did about 20 minutes of interval sprints on the treadmill. I also got my digestive enzymes yesterday so today was my first day taking them, do any of y'all take them? Their the ones from gnc.

Hey everyone, bought my first fat burner today from gnc, also got 5lbs of protein for $48 and I'm super happy about it. Today was shoulder day, I have been lifting heavier with less reps lately, and today I did:
Front and side db raises
Upright rows
Db shoulder press
Rear delt rows
I finished my day off with 15 minutes of treadmill interval sprints.
Tomorrow is abs and butt day 😫😫😫😫

Be careful with those OTC fat burners some do more harm then good. IMO i wouldnt do any of that shit and just keep doing what you are doing and give it time.
Most people know but some dont TIME is the biggest thing when it comes to achieving a goal in BBing. If you stick to something and do it right and give it time the results will happen, you dont need a fat burner because most likely its total bullshit and doesnt do what it says it does. My .2 cents.

Wow, it's 2014 and I'm blessed beyond measure. This year sucked but I learned a lot. My experience in 2013 will definitely go into my thought process and actions for the new year. I am not going to kid myself and have a long list of things to accomplish, mine is actually quite short, just four.
1. Compete in NPC
2. Clean up my credit
3. Build a closer relationship with my family
4. Have a savings in place to cover me for at least two months.
I thought about this for a while, a lot happened last year that changed my mind frame on what's important. At this point in my life, my guiding principles are definitely health, personal wealth building, and family. I think that if those things are right, everything else will fall into place. Last night was my last time drinking at least until after my competition. I enjoyed a nice night out with my boyfriend and we rang in the new year together.
Last year I was in a job I hated with a good pay, got fired and had a few other jobs I hated, and then got blessed to come full circle and start working for a previous employer in a position that has great growth potential with a boss that really wants to see me succeed.
I also started on the process of rebuilding my relationship with my mother, whom I've been estranged from for about 3 or 4 years. I finally had a talk with her and hashed out all our issues and cried it out. Me and her are slowly getting closer by the week.
Last year I was worried about finding a man, then giving it up to God and finding a soul mate. Right around the time I was seeking one, I met my boyfriend and we instantly clicked. I hope we continue to flourish in our relationship.
As far as bikini prep goes, my split is still the same, I've cut my carbs down and increased my protein intake. I've also slowly started cutting calories and I just started taking a fat burner so we will see how that goes. At the gym I doing more cardio and lifting heavier than before, trying to stay in the 8-15 rep range depending on the exercise. I haven't noticed much change on the scale but I am noticing visible changes and I'm scared to measure myself but I'll probably start doing that today. My diet has cleaned up and I'm not eating sweets or drinking coffee (mostly). It's nice to have a supportive boyfriend who works out and knows his way around the gym and deals with my hangry (hungry anger) times.
Cheers! ✌️
