Former Bench Press World Record Holder Chris Confessore Dies!
Christopher "Chris" Confessore Willow Spring Christopher "Chris" Confessore, 49, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N Ennis Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC. Burial will follow at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Chris was a loving husband, father, son, brother, son-n-law and friend. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Chris is survived by his wife of 22 years, Dianne Balletta Confessore; son, Christopher and daughter, Gina of the home; parents, Aniello and Angelina Mona Confessore from North Port, NY; brother, Neil Confessore of Raleigh, NC; sister, Marie Mateyunas of North Port, NY; and in-laws, Bob and Dianne Balletta of Willow Spring, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Home. Chris' 741lb bench press in 1995 at a weight of 236lb was unbelievable. He eclipsed Anthony Clark and Jamie Harris who far outweighed him
Chris always was an original writer for Rx Muscle magazine back in 2001

WILLOW SPRING — The driver of a car that crashed with a tractor-trailer on N.C. 42 in Willow Spring on Tuesday has died of his injuries, the State Highway Patrol said Thursday.Christopher Confessore, 49, of Willow Spring died Tuesday night of injuries suffered in the late-morning crash. The accident closed the highway from 11 a.m. until about 3:30 p.m. while troopers cleared the scene near Johnny Baker Road and investigated how it had happened.
Firefighters had to free Confessore from his car.
Troopers had not completed their accident report Thursday, they said.
The road was open for about 15 minutes Tuesday before another crash about two miles east closed it again.
