For some the post contest rebound is SO bad that it make it hard to workout/train. I always had bad rebounds! Congrats to your hubby!!! Cute pick!!!
So whats your plan to get back on track?

Thank you ladies! I know my post-comp experience is not uncommon, so I guess I can't be too hard on myself.
I am easing myself back into prep mode, if that makes sense. My coach gave me a pretty low-key plan that has me doing 5 lifts a week and 5 25-minute cardio sessions a week, and I have plenty of carbs in my diet. I am not the kind of person who can go from 0 to 100 successfully so we are starting off with this and seeing where it takes me. If something does not go according to plan I am not freaking out about it - just trying to do it better the next day (i.e. jam that cardio session in post-workout, or put the peanut butter away. LOL.)
I took a couple of days off from work last week and we went up to Venice so that my husband could get in a couple of workouts and posing sessions with his coach. Training at the Gold's up there always gets me really motivated... it was a great way to kick off my prep! I just love the energy in that gym. When you're in there, you know you have to train balls to the wall because everyone else is doing the same. And ya never know who will be there on any given day. On Friday, we saw Jay Cutler, Shawn Rhoden, and Dwayne Johnson. Very cool.
We also take our dog along. She sits patiently in her bag while we train, and then when we head up to the posing room she's allowed to run around. Here is a fun picture of her and my husband's coach. He has the privilege of being coached by Chris Cormier which has been awesome.

Ooh... lots of news and updates coming soon! Hope you all are well ladies! I'm off to train quads and glutes with my husband's bikini clients. I've never trained with three other women before, so this should be interesting.

Well, this blows... I'm sick! My husband came down with something and passed it on to me... sore throat, runny nose, headache, fatigue, etc.
Monday night group training sesh went well, although not according to plan. One girl was a no-show. Another had trained quads on Saturday for some reason and was still sore, so that was out. We ended up training delts. We had a great workout. I was actually sore yesterday and today, and my delts rarely ever get sore! Anyway, I like having people to spot me on certain movements, but on the other hand I don't like having to move to other peoples' training rythms. One of the girls talks... a lot... and gets distracted easily. I find that annoying when I'm training. I like to put my headphones in, fuck shit up, and get out.
We did a little posing afterward, and it made me realize how I need to work on my transitions! They are okay now, but I want more than "okay"... I want flawless! Thankfully my coach is one of the best bikini posers in the game.
