How Does the Testosterone/Epitestosterone Test Really Work? Is 100mg a Red Flag?
Quick question guys,
I'm on HRT at 100mg/week. I'm thinking of getting into triathlons and I know they do some testing (not that I'm going to win, but I'm curious anyway)
So for an HRT dose, would this cause the T/EP ratio to go out of sync? If all I'm doing is a small replacement does, why would the ratio be red flagged?
Or do they test to see that the testosterone is 'man-made' regardless of the dosage?
Thanks!

do they test all participants? I would think it would be too expensive to test everyone, but I could be wrong.

No i don't think so, I'm just curious as I'm sure there are more guys on HRT.
There is a way to get exempted as it's for a real medical reason, but it's not easy and I've always wondered why there's even a need to get exempted if you're only taking a small dose?

I don't have an answer on that. Certain metabolites will show up, and that why I believe you would need an exemption.

Okay cool, thanks.
I'm not interested in cheating, as I'm just doing a legit hrt dose and my levels are in the middle of an average males range.
Won't really impact me, since I'm not winning anything, just interested in competing in something for fun, but I was curious that's all.
