If these two women were at the top of WBB & WPD, we would see a wave of unprecedented growth. You'd see an exodus of women joining the ranks of both of these divisions. Muscle - would be cool again for the Women!!

She's got good body parts, but reminds me of Pumping Iron when Arnold tells the young guy, "little guys tend to hide away". Her twisting shots don't work, she's too short and compact to have the flow necessary. A miniature pinscher is cute, but a full grown Doberman will always be more impressive. Sorry, I just can't ever see her standing next to Iris.

Then again, shows aren't won on the boards and I could be wrong.

I have loved Woman's Bodybuilding since the early 80s but I hate to say it......Dana and Shannon are still too big to make "Tons or scores" of women take up the sport. It makes me sad but that is the reality of the situation, or at least the reality as I see it.

A lot of Bikini competitors are too muscular for the general public.

You're right, but they'll inspire a nice chunk. It'll be nice to see more ladies with muscle on the stage. Interestingly, a lot of the Figure girls carry some great muscle too. When Bikini first came out, it was assumed they were going for the beach look - but many of the Bikini girls have some size. I think however you cut it - MUSCLE is cool

Example of mainstream perception of "muscley":

Now Is The Time... to get pumped! Alanis Morissette displays incredibly muscly arms in black Lycra as she leaves the gym

    By DAILY MAIL REPORTER
    PUBLISHED: 07:26 EST, 7 February 2014 | UPDATED: 07:32 EST, 7 February 2014

There is no doubting Alanis Morissette has been putting in a lot of time at the gym of late.
However all the singer's hard work proved to be paying off when she displayed her incredibly toned torso after leaving a work-out session on Thursday.
Sporting tight, black Lycra, the 39-year-old showed only a hint of a smile as she strolled through Brentwood, California.
    ·
Despite only tweeting last week to say: 'Post-sprain: running again. thank god. #winterpinksky #gowiththeflow #gowiththegut', she had obviously been putting in some work beforehand judging be this recent outing.
The mother-of-one kept her brown hair tied back in a loose ponytail while clutching her phone and grey jacket in her hand.

She also, rather bizarrely, was seen strolling with a large mug as she made her way to her car.

Feeling fit: The singer displayed a hint of a smile as she left her session in black Lycra while carrying her phone in her hand

Solid as a rock: Alanis' arms look toned and muscly in her Nike sleeveless vest, while her hair was tied back in a bun.

Thirsty work: The 39-year-old carried a large mug as she left the venue while showing off her impressive figure

Alanis undoubtedly turned heads with her muscly arms and general fit physique, ahead of her world tour later this year.
Opting for a Nike vest for the session, the star appeared to be make-up free while holding what looked like a diary under her arm.
The Ironic crooner was also seen leaving the same gym last week, however she had looked a little more out-of-breath on that occasion, as perspiration was visible on her top.

Fitness fanatic: Alanis is regularly spotted leaving the gym recently ahead of her world tour later this year
Alanis even skipped the 2014 Grammy Awards on January 26 in favour of a day out with her two-year-old son, Ever Imre, and rapper husband Mario 'Souleye' Treadway.
She has been making sure she stays in tip top condition ahead of a very busy 12 months.
As well as a long list of concert dates, she is working on a Broadway musical based on her hit single Jagged Little Pill, which will hit the stage as a workshop production within a few months.

There's several Bikini competitors at the NPC & IFBB level that have a nice amount of muscle. Karen Olivera (video) is an NPC Bikini competitor from Michigan.

Excellent post. 99.9% of women will never ever want to look like DLB . She's to freaky they say. And if women cannot relate to her , no way in hell they ll relate to Shannon . No matter who's in charge of women's bbing it never will be mainstream. Heck, Men's bbing isn't mainstream. And the women that actually think DLB and Shannon look cool, when they find out what thy need to take to look like that, they ll ditch their fad and go back to doing nothing . I love women's bbing, I wanna see women that are peeled and freakish muscle. How pretty ones face is, is just an added bonus for me

Fail. Zero size. All I see is a few abs, photo shop, contest lighting, oil and tan. No muscle . A good magazine could make the above pics of jagged little pill girl look good.

I am friends with a lot of these ladies. RxMuscle.com is the #1 Source for Contest Coverage online. I posted these photos for you in good faith. But I'm not going to interact with you anymore. I don't care for your forum etiquette.

Curse my memory, but there was a girl who was biting a 45 in her avatar on BodySpace back in the day. Years later I saw her competing in Bikini. She's a very tall competitor, handed out an award at an Olympia, iirc, and seemed to tower over other women, plus, yeah, she had some size. Was definitely someone who enjoyed lifting, kept a journal, and apparently happily joined Bikini competition when it arrived as an option.

I'll try to jog my brain a bit. :-/

You posted their pics to "show me" women with size. You failed and I called it like I saw it. I don't care if you ever interact with me. My forum etiquette is pretty good I feel, could be soooooo much worse if curt wasn't here. But I respect him and rx so I behave. Have a good day mr duke.
