Post injection pain. Should I train the sore quad?
Hi guys I'm male 37 years old 210lbs and 5,11 and have some belly fat but I'm relatively fit and follow a good diet. I've been training off and on for years but the last 14 months had been a very dedicated routine.
This has been my first go ever with steroids
I take anavar 30mgs X 2 = 60mgs ED
Also I purchased T400 and I took my first test injection, which is what caused the problem.
Both my Anavar and T400 are from a Canadian UGL. I trust my source and I have read some good feedback about this brand.
The T400 contains 200mg of test enenthate and 200mgs of test decanoate per 1ml/cc
This was the first time Ive ever tried an injection steroid and injected 1ml into the center of my right thigh slightly to the outside. It been 2.5 days and after about 12hrs from the injection its been sore. Sometimes even causing a limp in my walk. I also got "test flu" which lasted 24hrs.
Today is the day I train legs but I'm not sure if I should be training a sore quad or be letting it heal? Also how can I do this once a week for a full cycle (10 weeks = 10 injections) Wouldn't the pain impair my training? Should I inject twice a week with half the amount each time instead of 1cc per week?
The primary question is should I train a quad that is still quite sore from a test injection?
Big Gratitude

yes i would train it.
the heavy concentration blends are often painful. quads are also a tough muscle group to learn to pin. a couple suggestions i have are to get some sterile grapeseed oil and mix it 50/50 with your test, and to try pinning glutes.

If people never trained legs when sore from pinning, legs would never get worked, lol.
Doing a twice a week sus cycle, the prop keeps my leg sore damn near all week long. I actually find that if I do legs after I pin, then I dont have as much pain the next day. You dont have any injuries, so your not in and danger of aggravating it worse.

dude you mentioned steroid flu, is it hot where the injection site was and like a golf ball in the injection site, if so it could be an abscess worst case, it happened to me I had a boiling hot lump in my quad with a fever, the doctors put me on 3 kinds of antibiotics and it cleared up without surgery, fingers crossed its the t400 which is like syrup, do what joe d said and cut it, best of luck bro

Much appreciated. I took the advice from Joe and Box and trained my legs and my legs felt better the morning after they were trained. Maybe it was just the fact that 72hrs had passed or as Box eluded to maybe the training helped with the quad soreness.
There wasn't any serious heat to the pain area, maybe a little warmer than the opposite leg and there was slight swelling but nothing that had me thinking abscess. I suspect the "test flu" was unrelated.
The grape seed oil keeps coming up on all my searches, and to have it suggested again here by Joe has got me interested in learning more. I'm just reluctant to mess around with my gear, it goes against my better judgement to start mixing stuff into my test.

if you can get a vial of already filtered sterile grape seed oil you wont have to do anything at all other than to prep the vial before drawing just like your test, draw your test then draw an equal amount of grape seed oil into the same syringe, roll it around for a few seconds, change the pin, and inject like you would without the added oil.
if you cant get the sterile filtered oil you can buy grape seed oil in a food store and sterilize it yourself. theres directions for that all over the net.

i've found working the area does help, perhaps additional blood flow helps spread the oil?
also, for gear that's really painful, I would split it and add another compound that wasn't as painful, helped a bit.

this is what i do:
mondy chest bis shoot d glutes
tusdy legs no shot
wed off no shot
thursdy shoulder tris shot quads
friday back no shot
sat no shot
sundy no shot
by the time i shoot again injection site is ok.
now this is what works for me.if you gona do prop tren etc meaning short esters frequent injections then figure out a way to shoot when you are supose to do it that doesnt fall on that muscle group you gona be working out.when i do prop i go chest, glutes, quad, delt and start again.you got two of each so figure out whats best for yahh.prop its a bitch if you get the right shit so u gona hurt a bit longer.i found out keeping prop in a warm place it does feel way better.
