I hate to say it but hitting the macros lol
6 meals a day
Meals 1-4 50g pro from lean protein source of his choice, 50g carbs carb source of his choice
Meals 5-6 50g pro from either beef, whole eggs, salmon and an additional 15g of fat from avocado, olive oil, etc
Lmao im just thinking back when we went to South Carolina for Juniors we were at the gym training and he was carrying around a bag of italian bread in the gym that he was eating post workout! Hahaha

With this approach are you tracking trace fats in the meals 1-4 or just hitting sources of protein and overall just looking to hit the pro and carb totals, same with the PM meals 5-6 I am assuming just looking for protein and fat numbers and not tracking trace carbs from avocado ect. Veggies included in this as well? Just curious as to the overall approach used! Thanks Steve

Hey Matt thanks for dropping in man
Correct we're not tracking trace amounts of fats in meals 1-4 fats are pretty low in those meals anyway cause he uses lean protein sources also the carb sources he uses are very low fat
Also not counting trace carbs in meals 5-6
I only like counting complete protein ..i dont count the trace amounts of protein in nut butters or sweet potatoes etc
Veggies he can add as much as he likes .. He does a few servings of veggies a day whenever he feels like it and wants to add some bulk to the mealLast edited by Steve56; 04-15-2014 at 11:00 PM.
