LA Fitness….SHAME on your company

Their gym in Roseville Minnesota is about to be listed as a "Public Nuisance" by the local police who say repeated attempts to get the business to install guards and/or securuity cameras has fallen on deaf ears. They have responded to almost 200 robbery and/or assault charges. Just yesterday a fight broke out in the basketball area "over a bad call" and spilled out into the weight room where 2 1/2, 5 and 10 pound plates were hurled. 5 arrests were made, adult and juvinile.



I can almost guarantee you that these young men had no father influence in the home. And it appears that they had zero supervision at LA Fitness. Bet you the house the management there are all limp wristed warm and fuzzy metrosexual men and deer in the headlights women.

I'm reading this while doing cardio at an LA Fitness 10 miles from Roseville. At the location I'm at now, there was a carjacking/kidnapping of a young woman in the parking lot about 3 weeks ago.

Fortunately she got away from the guy after he had her pull into a parking lot.
Seems that nowhere is safe or immune from assholes these days.

LA Fitness is a joke.
I've been to coveralls down here & they're all all pretty much as described above.

Lockers with locks torn off, fights on the basketball courts..not to mention piss-filled bathroom floors, broken stall locks, no soap or paper towels at the sinks & not a single dumbbell to be found where it should be.

The true "rift raft" is often in management and above at LA Fitness.

You know what's sad? That people call a building a joke. Behavior is sad. Buildings are just that... BUILDINGS.

LA Fitness, Planet Fitness, XYZ Health Spa... they're all just buildings with weights in them.

PEOPLE make lunk alarms, PEOPLE choose to lift heavy or half-ass it, PEOPLE throw 10lb weights. People can be sad, but buildings just sit there. Wtf.

So now at gyms if you deadlift, grunt, or otherwise train very hard, you get reprimanded, but if you play a ball game and act like a thug that's allowed? Intimidation is the word often used to justify the discrimination in the first instance. Why isn't it applied (much more correctly) to the second???
