Scooby Prep and Team Provo teaming up!
Jason and i decided to reveal in a thread here in what we are doing, how we are going about it, and what we are trying to achieve.
Jason and i will randomly consult with each other on our own physiques, and have kept in touch as friends and professionals over the past year. (im officially letting cat out of the bag on this one) ive been contest dieting for about 12 weeks now. I had mentioned this to Jason a while back and he was considering the same. here are the similiarities in both of our situations
1) Both with a new baby (Jason) or new baby on the way (myself 79 days from due date)
2) Both of our wives didnt like the idea of dropping the one night of the week we take them out to dinner when there dealing with pregnancy, motherhood etc. for a contest prep
3) Neither of us is chasing a pro card and were happy as shit and content about the fatherhood/upcoming fatherhood but something in us needs to always be trying to bring our best and chasing physique related goals to satisfy the hardcore mindset that will forever be apart of us.
4) I want control of my own prep, Jason wants control of his.
5) we both trust each others judgement
Jason is roughly 15 weeks out from jr nats and i am 3.5 weeks ( npc new haven) and 4.5 weeks out (possibly metropolitan nyc if schedule allows).
after asking each other for feedback a few times we came to the conclusion that we should team up. ultimately Jason will have final say in all decisions regarding his diet and i will have final decisions regarding my own diet. but we feel this arrangement will help prevent any boneheaded decisions based on emotion or not seeing the situations as they arise objectively. Just as a lawyer shouldnt represent himself in court as he would have a fool for a client.
We will be updating this thread with progress pics and info. Hope you guys are all game to follow along!

As we've discussed, I think this is a great idea. Having another set of eyes to stop you from doing something stupid/ keeping you sane is a great call. You both have all the knowledge, but you can never look at yourself objectively. Can't wait to see the results for both of you.

Oh.
Well... then just to give you an opportunity to ask a cogent, intentions-seeking, publicity stunt-exposing question.

BECAUSE Jason and I trust each others judgement, so far weve implemented each others suggestions 100% as time goes on that may or may not stick, we will see. The purpose of this thread is similiar to any other journal or prep thread on here, seeing what nutritional, diet and supplement changes do to our physiques as our preps progress. So we can all learn, critique and discuss. If this bothers you or you think its stupid as your suggesting with your question you can simply not subscribe.

But once again you didn't answer my question. If you are making your own changes no matter what the criticism what is there for anyone to learn? Seems like another one of your bullshit ploys to get clients cause they are leaving fast.
