Looks freakin awesome man! Does condition like that come with time, like each time you prep it gets better? I'm sure the muscle looks better just from more time training it as well

I mentioned this in an email but I LOVE your approach this time around. Keeping carbs higher and keeping cardio WAY down is allowing you to keep that crazy, round superhero look. Metabolism is screaming so you are burning fat. Killer combo. IMO in prep's past you lost some of that crazy fullness by pushing too hard and doing too much cardio at the end. I love when guys are not afraid to completely change things up. I have seen so many guys do the same things over and over and expect different results. For what it is worth i hope this thread stays alive....I can learn from both you guys.

thanks bud i think it does to a large degree. for me personally the lighter and leaner i start each prep the more dense conditioned look i can achieve but i do understand its a trade off and it is possible i may have missed out on a little extra muscle but it is hard to say for sure. I often use the analogy to clients competing is to a physique what storing an aging a fine wine is to wine. i think the merits of a long offseason are capped at about a year for most, i think one really changes there physique from having a long enough offseason competting then back to a long enough offseason and competing again back and forth.
Im not talking sheer mass here im talking improved density, condition and maturity.
im sure you will. Petes the best!
thanks kev as i daily learn from you and the many other great guys on here. something i wrote in austins thread that seemed to be similiar to what i experienced in the past. once you start getting aggressive with cardio the moer and more it seems i need to get to desired leanness, if u can start lean, be patient, and let your body know the diet is going to be doing the work not the treadmill it accepts it and starts burning the fat( i know this is a simplistic and not scientific way of explaining it im just laying it out this way). i noticed my body adapted to caloric changes alot slower then it did in the past. for example one diet change lasts me on avg 3 weeks now before i have to lower cals opposed to before it was like 1 week max. and when i did lower them they were baby amounts like 130-170 cals. pretty good learning experience for me thus far.

typically yes but last year much more drastic went from 3200-3500 to keto then to protein veggie then adding large amounts of cardio at a clip. im not blaming anyone for this. this year circumstances were different i started prep less than 9 lbs above stage weight at 16 ish weeks out
