30% 50% 20%, how to mix it up?
How should I alter my diet?
Hi guys, I tried to bulk starting back in October and, as you’ll see below, it did sort or work for a while. Problem is I started a new Job in about Jan my schedule got pretty full and erratic. I was able to maintain eating schedule (somewhat) and maintained it much better than my lifting schedule.
But as you can see, I just started gaining weight, body fat % and lost some muscle. Admittedly, I look husky now.

I did pretty well that first month, but those last several pounds were basically just fat.
My job is now settled down so I have time to start lifting regularity again so I’m gonna start up again. But should I alter my diet so I don’t take on too much fat. I understand fat must come with muscle gain, but should I or is there way to change my diet to lessen my fat gain?
I tried to take in 3000 to 3100 calories a day at 30% protein, 50% carbs and 30% fat.
Should I change that at all?
Thanks.
