Who is watching the Emerald Cup & the Pro show?

This is the first year of the Emerald Cup Pro show. I took a look at the competitor list and really looking forward to some updates. Some notes from stuff I've seen:

- Sabrina Taylor - definitely one of the defining physiques in WPD.
- Valentina Chepiga! I didn't realize she was competing! Really looking forward to this! She's been one of my favorite competitors since the early 2000's in FBB.
- Kim Kosmos - her pro debut after winning 3 categories at the NA's last year, and back in her home stomping grounds in the NW.


And TBS announced a recently that he would also be competing in the NPC show.

Sean Calder made history by winning the masters overall friday night then adding to that the open overall Saturday night.

What is Valentina competing in? Figure or physique? She has an incrdible body and would do well in both. Just wierd how a former miss olympia has to requalify for nationals.

I was at the Emerald Cup over the weekend and will have a big report on the Pro WPD event this week. There were 16 entrants and it was the best competitive show of the season. Sabrina Taylor won the contest, Roxie Beckles was 2nd, Erica Blockman 3rd, Tanji Johnson 4th, Venus Nguyen 5th and Katerina Kyptova 6th. Soooo much to write about from this contest. BTW, Valentina Chepiga was 11th and at 52 looked super (and based on her placing was probably deemed to be too muscular). If there was a 'Best Poser' award Tanji Johnson owned it. Se really rocked the house.
And once again, the Emerald Cup proved to be one of the nation's premier contests to enter no matter what division. Just a class affair in every way.

The Pro Figure event had a field of 23 entrants. Dana Ambrose won the show with Julie Mayer 2nd, Wendy Fortino 3rd, Sasha Brown 4th, Monica Labriola 5th and Krista Dunn 6th

She competed in PRO Women's physique.

Thank you Carrie. I didn't know Emarld Cup added a pro show. That is sweet! Haven't watched it since 2002, but it was a great event back then. Seems to have grown by leaps ansd bounds.
