A fine balance between having too much fat and too little, just as there is with too much estrogen.

I have seen guys who are extremely strong, have very low bodyweight with T-levels in the low 300s.

That doesn't mean that Brian Shaw's natural T-levels are high because he is fat and strong.

Exactly. Those that are could give a rat's ass what eating more meals will do to their t-levels. A few hundred milligrams will make up for that.

I think there is a "happy medium". If your bodyfat is too high, estrogen will rise. However, push the diet hard for an extended period of time and get your bf% well into the single digits (naturally) and your test levels will drop.

Very true and a big reason natural athletes fail to gain a lot of muscle.
The average human body doesn't want to be a true 8-10% bodyfat (talking dexascan proven not caliper nonsense) and will be reluctant to gain new tissue.
But if you go to the other extreme 20+% it will be problematic again.

This! I have been natural my entire life been lifting for about 15 years. Mentally and physically I feel best around 12-15%. When I get below 10% I feel like shit, my body tends to hold on to fat and I have to go around 1200-1500 cals to get below 10% and I feel terrible and cant sleep.

this is a cool observation mac, i guess it makes sense that a smaller guy can be strong for his weight w a lower test level because he doesnt need X amount of test to support x amount of muscle like a bigger bodybuilder would
