Default Does eating more meals and putting on weight beneficial for testosterone?

Funny thing I have noticed with my body. After dropping fat and water, to the tune of 20 lbs, as I'm now 232 (feeling great btw) I feel as if My test. levels are through the roof! I feel like a horn dog 99.99% of the time and am much leaner. Strength has dropped a tad but who cares as long as I feel good. Anyway, here is my question? Since putting on size builds strength, do you think that testosterone is the key element. TBH, I feel much hornier/happier at this weight than before, so I wonder if testosterone is elevated when dropping weight? If so, why is my strength less? Anyone can answer this ?. Hypothesis, educated guess, whatever? All comments are welcome!!

I've dropped from 260 to 242 in the last couple of months.Didnt train for the whole of April and had an illness.Back in the gym now to try and get it back up.Still just into double figure bodyfat readings.I still haven't got the will to eat clean.

    Yes and no.
Yes, dropping weight and eating more frequently probably normalizes natural testosterone (and other hormone) levels as it relieves the stresses on the endocrine system that occur when eating massive meals of junk and waddling around like a tubby bitch.
No, it will not increase your natural testosterone levels, the feeling you are having is that of a normal, healthy, functioning endocrine system.
Being fat and watery can make you "seem" stronger. The fat and fluid both support the muscles and joints, in addition intramuscular water and fat will engorge (pump) the muscle providing more cellular volume which decreases the actual effort needed to lift heavy weight. Could get more scientific if you want but, this is the principle upon which Creatine works.

You nailed my thoughts Big Z. I think all that weight I had was just a false sense of carrying muscle, when in fact, water and fat were pushing the weights instead. I feel like I can run a marathon and still feel good. Before, just tying my sneakers felt like a chore.

I hear you. I go up and down about 30-40 pounds every couple of years. After the long harsh MidWest winter this year, I'm just getting back to a comfortable weight.

higher body fat does tend to lower T levels. You got leaner, so your levels normalised. Simples.

The more body fat you have the more aromatase enzyme is stored in your body. This enzyme is then released into the blood stream and it eats testosterone for breakfast, lunch and dinner converting your androgens to estrogens.

Get fatter and be less of a man all from an enzyme.

The leaner one gets on a diet, the lower their test levels get from 1) A caloric deficit over a long time
    2) Lower fat intake usually from the caloric deficit needed to reach a level of leanness (to compete)

Many people who do compete and get their bloodwork done towards the end of a prep will show signs of testosterone dropping from the deficit over time + Low fat levels which are a reason why testosterone drops.

mac get fat and become less of a man, I disagree go tell that to brian shaw, zydrunnas savickas terry Holland, I also read that eating fat (animal) fat increases testosterone, but it also raises cholesterol, its a double edge sword, even dave palumbo used to eat a mc ds everyday offseason, just my opinion pal, but I like being lean myself, so I get your drift, I also read the diet of Michael duncun for the green mile, they were sending him tonnes of fried chicken to bulk up for the movie, whose no longer with us (rip). myself I like to stay around 12-14% bf as that's best for me all round

I seriously doubt that any of those guys are not taking some form of exogenous test, so its kind of a moot point.
