How long have you been at these macros? Current photos? What makes you choose those carbs over others?

For about 6 weeks, since I have grown I know some fat is entailed but as I keep growing I just want to make sure I have it more dialed in.
Will post picture when I can figure out how to post picture from phone
Just reading and trying to get the right carbs.. I figured rice, oats and sweet potatoes are complex. Ill be happy to change whatever I need to to keep gaining

On a 3656 caloric intake carbs would be 32.481 percent or a total of 297 including veggies, which those would b estimated. As of right now I do not know the current carb per servings for the rice, oats, and sweet potato. Just the total amount of carbs

How long have you been in a caloric surplus? To me, I wouldnt go much further because you are just asking to gain bodyfat over muscle. There comes a point where you need to pull back and regain some insulin sensitivity to make quality gains.

I would swap out some olive oil for nuts and avocados. gets some fiber in there not to mention have some more bulk.

Wifey was eating 1 cup of oatmeal or sweet potato 6-7x/day for 10 weeks before her physique show last week. The final 2 weeks pre...she cycled the carbs down to nada. Contest day was a different story tho to get max pump lol.
Point is, the carbs shouldn't be a problem if you're training hard and getting cardio consistently in. I take 1.5 cups of those aforementioned carbs 5-6x day, train like a banshee 1 hour mon/wed/fri weightlifting all sets to complete failure and beyond with (4) 40 minute cardio sessions/week.
Getting leaner while adding density overall. I think you're carbs are fine unless you're close to competition.
Btw I'm 6-1, 225. 41yrs old.
Wifey...
