Yes my muscles are fabulous you F****** creep
Creeps in the gym following me around , not the normal roaming eyes or sweet horny smile I mean following me everywhere in the gym looking almost menacing . I thought this was very odd then it happened again by a an old disgusting man who was so obvious i wanted to slap him and then some freak started talking about sex while I was on the step mill. I got off and went home What do you do when this happens? Im a fully grown woman with a grown son . Im shocked by this and its no compliment its scary which i know sounds pathetic but thats how i feel.

That sucks he is acting in that way. I agree with curt tell the manager and make him document your complaint. I can honestly say in our gym the guys I train around and myself would police that issue for you. I feel like if there was another man there and he witnessed this he should step up and tell the guy to back off. Maybe we have a different code down here in the rural south.

Might help to dress modestly and cover up more if you don't already?

There's always an gym asshole, if he wasn't in the gym, he'll be that guy hanging by the bar making lewd comments and jokes about women. Like the pink Floyd song said" went he gets home his fat psychopathic wife thrash him within an inch of his life ".

As a Female who trains in a VERY hardcore gym that is 99% male..... I have been VERY blessed to train with some of the most considerate and respectful guys around! Granted - most are long term members and have known me for a long time and have supported my journey and we greatly respect each others hard work.
That being said - there have been times when a newbee arrives and may need schooled a bit to what is NOT acceptable...... my guys above are QUITE happy to educate said individual if it becomes necessary....
BUT, they also know I can take care of myself and I am a Chick with ZERO tolerance for Creepazoid Bull Shit - Don't hesitate to stop dead in your tracks and stare this dude down and flat out straight up tell him to back the F OFF.... you don't appreciate his staring, looks, comments etc.... you are there to train in a "Creep Free" environment and if he can't comprehend your message, you'd be happy to turn him in to management.~Lorrie ~ Mediocrity is NOT an option! ~

DO NOT LET THEM RUN YOU OUT OF THE GYM!!!!!!
Your goals are more important than them!
I definately would talk to a manager first but if that doesnt seem to work dont be afraid to tell him/ them thier behavior is unacceptable to thier face if you need to. My husband says I walk around with an 'F YOU' sign on my forehead cause no one talks to me while I train and if they look at me they usually look away as soon as I make eye contact with them. I learned to do this because a few creeps would eye F*ck me and follow me around at my old gym and actually try to get on my machine when there was an open one right next to me. I spoke to a manager and he talked to them but it didnt help so I asked them politely stop getting in my f-ing way, I have work to do.
I understand every sitation is different and I wish you the best. Just remember why your in the gym in first place.

this honestly never works, I have a creepy old dude, to who despite the fact I go with my boyfriend and tag along with him and he is one of the larger guys in the gym in lifting wise. At first I was like creepy old dude, always talks too long and feels the need to show me his insta and hit on every other girl, i wish he would just go away, then I thought about it, and his life is kinda sad, like besides the gym I doubt he talks to anyone, and then there was that kid that shot a bunch of people cause woman were mean to him, and I was like i guess i can just deal with it.
Although, if he really is bothering you, or you are generally not comfortable to work out/dont feel safe talk to the manager or the more direct way and will most likely embarrassing him enough not to talk/look to you again, is to go up when he is staring or w/e and be like "if you want to say something than say it, I train here I would like to be comfortable when I train, and personally dont appreciate what you are doing, I am not interested in you" with stalker type men you need to be very direct and leave no open ends.

No offense - but these statements piss me off! Granted - you don't need to show up looking like you just left the Playboy mansion and/or your ass & boobs hanging out ..........BUT - we bust our asses to look good we should be able to wear shorts, tank tops, etc..... without some Creepazoid thinking it's an open invitation to overstay his wondering eyes..... or conversations...... WHY is it HER responsibility to change HER behavior (assuming she even wears something that shows off anything what so ever)..... when the real problem is in the individual who thinks his behavior is ok and gets a pass???

although spankie shorts are always a good idea to wear with shorts that might show something by mistake while doing something like Romanian dead lifts.... a woman at our gym, who puts in her time at the gym, but is more of a gym goer than a lifter in her middle ages... wears shorts no undies and its just something you pass by and double take, they are tight shorts but those dont always cover everything , and I always think, like no please dont say I just saw..... Ive debated telling her, but she rocks it like she is a rock star at the gym, I dont want to burst her bubble why everyone stares/ double takes....

This is where you just hope people check the mirror before they leave the house for the gym. Floppy boobs or cooch hanging out are just not a good thing.
RE: Sick fuckers in the gym - go tell management. Not your job to have to deal w/ them if they are obviously getting their jollies being creepy.
