My real place was 24th... in lists we all have like 18th shared place.
Well thanks a lot. I improved legs and back a lot thanks to healing some injuries and giving it more work.
I always says to all my athletes (but I sometimes do not listen to myself LOL) that this sport sucks in one thing. You may do a great job and still have not great result or be good enough for placing. In other sports it is more what you give you get back. In this sport you may do TREMENDOUS job and still look poor in comparison with someone who do nothing and look great thanks to genetics... So it should be the WORK you did what counts.... well in some cases it still hurts, even though placings should no matter.

LADA!!!!
So happy to see you! So very sorry to hear of all your struggles! Ups & downs aplenty for each one of us living this lifestyle. It is true some days it is harder to find motivation to keep moving forward. But one thing you do is persevere and I admire & respect you for that! I do hope all will sort for you so you can settle and truly get back to doing what you love!
Eh the Arnold judges got it wrong from what I am seeing. But as I hear from seasoned pros who hit the stage again & again, you cannot focus on what the judges may or may not reward. You must focus on being the best version of you, beating the version you were before. You did that in spades! Fantastic beautiful physique.
Hold Strong! And I will keep an eye out for your posts!

Lada, just seeing this now. I did not rrealize you had moved to Canada from Europe. Many things have happened since i last saw your posts. Sorry to hear about your struggles and issues in Canada. Once you clear those obstacles, you will be ok. There are many competitors who take time off and go abck again when they are ready. Take care of yourself first.

Hi people my internet sucks for a while, but I am back... long therm visa in Canada did not go trough, so we are trying another type outside of Canada, we are in Vegas now (cheap rents).. but because we will have to move back home maybe, we decided enter once more Arnold Classic, now both of us - Daniel wanted to try men physique (he is 6`6" so too tall for bodybuilding even though he loves it). He is in great conditioning... I did not start good (in fact I really did not train from April till late August at all and ate whatever I wanted as I wanted to be out of the sport, but was not happy)... so my conditioning is a bit off... probably will look the same as in 2013... but whatever. I am 35 so first time going masters division and in figure, not physique (I go both in fact, but only to be on stage longer... while I focus to figure now).
Even though not happy with final product, the road back from being skinny fat was worth it and I will not repeat the same mistake even though this year with both of us competing we are in pretty big debt....so competing next year is really a question, especially with moving back and forth.... but I am happy just to be here, top 10 would be nice but if I will loose I will loose now because of myself.
I am reporting online at my page www.facebook.com/Lada.Bronwyn.Plihalova and enjoying myself. Posting the whole journey, pics, vids from Vegas and here etc.

Yes this year I am enjoying it, I do not count with finals this year... last year I was too motivated, in fact I wanted a medal - very badly - so it hurt when I did not get it... this year I know I am soft, I know I started from skinny fat... so I am enjoying just to be here - one of few athletes who qualified three times in a row anyway... and I will not retire - I know it... just having a break till all debts will be not payed off
Hi Al, Daniel wrote you at different board personal message Definitely we have to hook up! We are returning to Vegas after Arnold and will be there till end of March.

Lada, you know I've always LOVED your look. Your most recent pics by the pool I'd say you have beat your previous "best" at least 10x over! So proud of you!
Baby muscle, check out Lada's FB page if you haven't already and you'll see her stage pics from when she competed in Europe. Lada has a great story!2016 RX Member of the Year & March 2015 Member of the Month
