Feel my heart beating while I just sit.
I'm 25 years old and eat fairly healthy mainly chicken, eggs, steak rice potatoes and fish. I have been working out really heavy 5-6 days a week in preparation to start a bulk cycle and recently have been feeling my heart beat. Not rapid but like thumps. I suspected high bp which I got checked and it's 150/90!!! I've never had high bp so I am lost as to the cause.

I would start with some natural BP remedies. Celery Seed Extract and Ubiquinol. You'll be good to go in a few days. Guarantee this will bring you down 20-30 points.
This can be genetic too or caused by many things.

Can you visit the doctor?
I've tried celery seed capsules, Ubiqinol, CoQ10, dark chocolate... reducing stress seems to be the biggest help. Perhaps another rest day in the mix?
Oh, and who is checking your BP? Those grocery store or Wal-Mart machines? I never get a good reading there.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

When you have your blood pressure taken you need to sit still for about 5 minutes, do not cross your legs, do not have a full bladder....these things will raise your BP. Also try and close your eyes and visualize somewhere calming....like your favorite beach at sunset. Good luck.

Well ended up going to urgent care for chest pain and they got my BP high also and said I had an abnormal EKG and was admitted to the ER. The ER got my BP at 123/70 a normal EKG and good chest xray and good blood work. They told me the medic had used too small of a cuff giving a high reading and they said my bloodwork was great....What a nightmare but stoked to have a clean bill of health!

Another thing I forgot to mention.....for most people who work out they must use a large or extra large cuff. Good to hear you are OK, bad to hear you had to go through that crap!
