What? Bodybuilding. And hopefully the whole show will be covered, all events. At least the highlights, right?

I think this is very good news, & may be due in part to Generation Iron, which just appeared in my local Family Video store.

Wow, didn't expect this anytime soon. Of course this is pretty damn cool, but I'm curious how they'll present things. The average TV viewer isn't going to come to watch with the same back info and experience that a fan of the sport would have. Would they really be interested in seeing an entire pre-judging? Doubtful IMO, but a shortened version with a quality commentary explaining the finer details (nothing like Bobby Hennan's old WBF commentary -lol) might just find new fans.

Shocking really.
That along with the growing interest in getting bigger I have seen at my own gym in recent months, it looks like bodybuilding is growing.....not dying.
For a while the gym was filled with nothing but little dudes trying to make sure their abs looked hawt. Now suddenly more and more younger guys are trying to go heavier and are more interested in putting that size on.

It was like that here too until recently. Houston is pretty big and the trends can be seen openly. There are way more guys lately trying to get that size on than there used to be.
It used to be you only see 2 or three other really big dudes in the gym but now, there are enough people pushing for more to even motivate me a little.
I think that age group just hitting about 25 bought up all the skinny jeans so everyone else is going for swole.

Does this mean it won't be streamed live by BB.com? And with a 90 min show we'll only see a few routines.

Now that there are more sports networks, it's not surprising they are looking for new programming, especially programming that does not duplicate what other networks have.
BTW, Sports Illustrated has always been bad on bodybuilding issues & will never change.
