Swingslammer- just back onto this board after being away for a few years and just trying to get back into the groove. I'm been out of the sport for over 2 years and trying to get back on my feet in it again. Your posts here about your challenge and successes are motivating. Thanks

I have attained lift off!
Seriously though, I am feeling really good now. Also I have been riding a road bike for about 40 years but after tearing both triceps at various times it was harder to go long distances. Listening to Dave get all obcessed about biking made me want to ride again so I "Revamped" my bike by getting an adjustable head set which makes me be able to move the handlebars way back so I do not have to rest on my triceps so much.
Also I have tried to enlist an old friend that was my workout partner in high school....in the early 80s, to compete in Master MPD next year so we can be mutually supportive. He is thinking it over? Plus while on vacation I told my wife I have to get back to the gym some more even if it cuts in to the kids time a little so I can be the best "Me" I can be. She seemed to be agreeable?
Cruisermike.....how are things going for you?Gone but not forgotten, I remember you too Dookie!
