Primo, mast p. or proviron

My wife is 3.5 weeks in to her first avavar cycle and loving the results. She started taking to reduce muscle loss during her contest prep, but she has actually been putting on muscle. Her midsection is getting tight but she seems to hold a lot of water in her legs and back. We had the same prob last year so I dont think its the var.
Anyways we have decided to try add one of the above to help her dry out the last 6 weeks. Which one would be best for this, to get her the nice hard dry look?

It probably is the var. Please see this stickie, specifically the var section. It is not uncommon to get a bit of an estrogen reaction and retain water. You can try fiddling w/ the dosage to see if there is a "sweet spot" that reduces it. Or just suck it up and live w/ it, but drop it at 7-10 days out. That gives enough time for the body to flush the water prior to the final week.

I would absolutely drop the var at least a week prior to show day for sure. If you want to throw something else in there, I'd probably go w/ proviron. Primo takes 5 weeks to get "full strength" and can be significantly more androgenic if she is looking to avoid sides (particularly including hairloss and voice cracking). Masteron or proviron would be the better choice, w/ proviron probably being the easiest to use just w/ tabs (10-20 mg/ day , split the dose AM / PM) for 4-6 weeks.

You might also review her diet if there is anything (e.g. gluten) that might cause water retention on top of the var, but my money is on the var first.

Diet is pretty tight right now her prep coach has her eating carbs only pre and post workout rice cakes and sweet potato.
Will try lowering the dose, if that doesnt work could raising the dose possibly work?
Will drop 10 days precontest as recommended, her prep coach also suggested the same. He mostly works with men and advising women on aas is new to him.
Will go with proviron, and order some today.
