Personally I've never bought Athlete-branded supps because I've assumed they'd just be rebranded generics. I guess that's what most brands are these anyway. The real differentiation is the marketing and packaging.

Dude, that is entire supplement industry. Every once in a while a step forward is made, but in the end, nothing.....NOTHING....beats understanding how much food you need to eat to grow and making hitting the gym a regular part of your life.
The rest is genetics.
I'm not even taking a protein supplement right now but have gotten up to my heaviest body weight with less body fat.
Teens just getting started are looking for that magic pill. We all went through that. I remember wasting money on Smilax back in high school...and making no real progress until I hit college and started eating like the rest of the football team.
It isn't until you become a real meathead that you figure out that shit is the least important.Last edited by Professor X; 07-12-2014 at 10:56 AM.

I have to agree. I think Phils new sup line will target the young gullible crowd as I once was, and take them for a joy ride. Such fucking bull shit. Instead of teaching kids right and wrong it's "Hey, fuck those young kids. They will toss that money on girls, so why don't we just sell them Mr. O's face on a jug and charge them triple." This is why I cant stand listening to some if not most of these scam advertisements.

I try!!Once that pm comes through. In the mean time, I wont sit here and cry if it doesn't lol If he does come out with a product, maybe something new, besides the same gibberish with his face and name on it. I think as long as there is a younger generation that is coming up, I guess you can say it's an automatic win, in lying to them that is LOL.

I look at it from an integrity stand point. You think if Micheal Jordan sold a pair of shoes that he swore would make him jump 30 feet, people would respect him. Now I know both these guys are on wayyy different levels, and yes it may sound like apples & oranges, but the hype that will be given regarding Phil's sup line I'm sure will be considered almost the same. Again, just an integrity issue..

BTW supplements work and they are A LOT of good ones out there but sadly they don't get mentioned a lot because they can not afford to advertise left and right.
I've tried to get this forum going on supplements and bring some attention to some of the really good products out there but nothing.
ie: Muscle Feast (greatest protein powders and calorie free intra-workout for amazing prices. You just have to get them on sale. $54 for 5lbs container of pure WPI or WPH).
Conqu3r...a pre-workout that is so strong that you'll do cock pushups.
Gut health...it's in the name. Cheap and great for digestion. But all by the small companies.

That stuff tasted so good. Lol
Better teens spend their money on protein and other OTC supps than on cigarettes. And how many actually believe in a magic pill? That would be a good question to ask customers at the local supp shop.
I think it's a myth.
"Yes, I'm buying this because it has Phil Heath's pic on the label. I will not lift. I will not follow a meal plan. I fully expect to look like Phil because of this product alone."
Bullshit. That kid does not exist.
Plus, I've seen plenty of this celebrity supps include a workout program, educational or motivational DVD, etc.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!
