PCT question..
Something has me a bit confused.
A few years back I did 2 cycles of Halo and 1 SDMZ from Iron Mag Labs and their suggested PCT for those was E-Control. I took about a year off from the gym, got fat and soft and decided to get back into it and now on the Blackstone Labs and a few other forums everyone says you need to do a cycle of Clomid then a cycle of an Estrogen blocker. Why wasn't this suggested a few years back? Surely this isn't some new revelation?
For the record...I have asked this elsewhere and didn't get a response so I'm hoping somebody on here has an answer.
Thanks.

You can recover with no PCT, with OTC PCT and script medicines. There are many ways to recover because frankly your body when shut down for a short PH run will want to reach homeostasis anyway in most cases.
All posts are for entertainment and may contain fiction. Consult a doctor before using any medications. heavyiron does not advocate readers engage in any illegal activity.

Heavyiron,
Thanks for replying and thanks for all the info I've gained from you over the past 3 or 4 years. While I appreciate your answer it still didn't address the question of why the shift in thinking of adding a cycle of clomid and then a cycle of an estrogen blocker whereas a couple years ago no mention of clomid.
If it was just one person stating this then I'd lean towards your answer. The fact that it seems a general consensus then some shift in thinking had to occur.
Hope this makes sense.

maybe its my unfamiliararity with those products (aside from halo and clomid) but your question seems unclear. clomid IS a SERM/estrogen blocker.
i agree with heavyiron and dont even bother doing a PCT when i go off. Just use an AI if you need it during and immediately after cycle/blast. yours sounds like it will be short anyway

if you shut down your test production your body will fight to recover. it may recover, it may not. pct drugs help the recovery along. they make it happen faster, and smoother. so sure you might be able to recover without a pct but why would you take the extra chances?
also some of these orals act and clear so fast that you may not be even shutting yourself down.
