I'm trying to decide if I want to cut out creatine. So many mixed reviews. I've used it for about a year straight. Doing men's physique

I think you're fine on creatine...then again, if it's that flavored powder crap that's like 50g / serve I would cut it...normal creatine? No

It's green magnitude. Supposedly no bloat but think I'm dropping anyways to be safe.
My coach recommended I even drop my bcaa powder... Idk about that considering I'm still doing 2 cardio sessions a day

Now only if you guys could go to supplement forums and convenes them that protein powders don't make you hold a lot of water. Seriously those guys read a lot of scientific studies but that is about it...rarely any of them can apply anything truly useful to the real world.
I know everybody is different but they treat powders to an extreme case.
Dude green mag is like crack. That shit is just delicious lol.

I am not your coach but since you put it out there I will give my opinion.....There is no reason to drop BCAAs nor will they make you "hold water". If you are using them in pure powder form, no reason to cut them at all. If you are using a kind with artificial sweeteners, than it may make sense to dump them a week out....But even that depends on the individual. Some guys hold water from artificial sweeteners, some do not.

I think people misunderstand the term "holding water". They feel they need to dehydrate themselves and will do so at any cost - cutting water completely for long periods, completely cutting sodium, AND cutting out creatine because it makes them "hold water". However, the truth of the matter is that you should not be trying to dehydrate yourself. You should be trying to pull water out from under the skin and into the muscle. Creatine plays a role in accomplishing that. Dropping creatine if you have been using it all along is pointless....In fact, it will aid in filling you out and preventing a flat look. I never cut creatine out.
