I met him yrs ago at the Master Nationals. Had lunch with him. Really nice guy, but some of these guys do some crazy shit. It was hard for me to understand everything he was saying, but of his lack of English.

Yup he's Bulgarian like me and that is really sad. Most of the bbers die during their pre contest prep, cos that's when the serious stuff come in. Especially when the blood gets thick and they've burned most of the fat there is Thats the most dangerous moment of the prep.

Google shows a Stoil Stoilov on Facebook, but it's a different man.

It also led me to an MD thread where Stoilov made one post... his only post to that forum.

He was obviously someone who thought outside the box.

Alright there have been few jokers around here that i would like to clear up.The army joke. I have been in the Bulgarian army as its required after graduating high school. Russia and Bulgaria are 2 different countries. During the time there I did not have any gym equipment to use as a gym therefore I tried to develop something else.

After I finished my duty I tested my workout ideas and experimented with my devices further. The entire idea has been to find a device to separate the muscle within it self. With my devices it allows the trainee to lift a lot more weight at full range of motion. It isolates the elbows and the wrists. With those devices it allows me to work out over 100% of what i could do with just basic exercises. It helps develop the muscles to grow over its frame.

I'm at age 46 and I have pretty good results and I couldn't say i'm the most gifted bodybuilder. The main question is what could happen if some one young and gifted bodybuilder starts working out with my stuff. My guess would be a revolution for the back development.

I would like to see more feedback on the exercises.

Thank you all for checking this out.

This video is from that thread and also on YouTube.

And here's another video from YouTube. Pretty cool!

Tragic that he was only 49. And that's regardless of whatever cause of death, but so many assume they'll make it to 100. You don't need me to say there are no guarantees. Some won't see their tenth birthday. I'm grateful to have hit 51... 52 if I last a few more weeks. Life is fragile and all too often fleeting.

He had a great back, it always reminded me of Franco Columbu with it's width and thickness. I remember Stoli because he lived in Chicago and I would see him compete often out there. Very sad he passed away at such a young age. He only competed last weekend and died a few days later. This happened several times last year too so it makes me think it might be related to contest prep, probably diuretics. I looked online for an obituary but wasn't able to find one.
