We recreated the pit for a reason.

But any shots taken by anyone will either be deleted or moved to the pit.

I mean there's a margin of error or a certain amount of leeway, isn't there?

If one member gives another member a ration of ish but they're clearly friends then I'm not moving it or deleting it. You and PfA don't seem to be buddies and so it's going to be zapped or moved.

I will point out one thing, though. I have the option of deleting or deleting as spam. The two boxes or circles to check are right next to each other. I can see it happening or am aware of the possibility that one day -- if I'm constantly deleting attacks or volleys from one member to another -- that I might click on "delete as spam" accidentally. If that happens there's little hope of retrieving a member's posts.

You can always create a new account, of course, but it seems a better idea to keep the venom and personal attacks to a section of the forum designated for that content or purpose.

But, yes, you're right. I saw your post in the pit... that he takes shots in MC and then has no nerve to follow up in the pit. Was that the gist of it?

Pretty much. I actually find him mildly entertaining but his constant whining and cheap shots he takes at other members is annoying. Anyone who takes my posts as more than just humorous or even retarded really needs to lighten up.

I may be partial to Phil since he was one of the first bodybuilders I met in person in 2008 but every time I have met Phil he has been a class act and I think he represents the sport well. Unfortunately a little movie called Generation Iron played him out to be the bad guy and his higher ups made him keep that persona going through the 2014 Olympia as to not break the story arc, and it didn't do him any favors; people now think Phil is a jerk, which from my experience he is not. But on the topic of a "deserving" Mr. O, I would want the person to really be the ambassador of bodybuilding around the world, visiting contests, schools, hospitals, reading to kids in the library etc. I remember I saw a video of Kevin Levrone making an appearance to kids in the Children's Hospital and he was like a superhero to them, and he wasn't even Mr. O.

What pisses me off is he gives a speech for his wife who had battled breast cancer and cried which my hats off to him. Then he meets some other chick 2 months later who looks like she belongs on a strip pole. Wtf

That soured my viewpoint a bit, too, but...

a) I don't know what the stress of cancer did to their relationship, if anything.
b) Maybe they were on the outs prior to the cancer and, though possibly sincere in his speech, he had just reached his limit with his ex.
c) Love makes people crazy.
d) Other.

LOL I always have wanted to say something like that about the person you refer to but he seems to have alot of "fans". Everytime he does an interview I cringe it is so ridiculous the nonsense he goes into. And for the record I can't stand his posing, he can't hit a normal pose!

Yeah, supposedly it's all an act. Same with his poor act in Generation Iron when he had actually had a $700,000 home and a new SUV. Not saying it wasn't the truth in earlier years but supposedly a fabrication by the time of the movie.
