regarding bro-science...Its important to remember that in BB most people get results in spite of what they do as opposed to as a result of it.

science doesn't necessarily flip flop, it's about how one interprets the study they are looking at or how the study was handled

if one study says coffee is a miracle bean and the other says it's junk, you would need to go deeper into the study to see the differences as to why they are saying what they are

either way, who lets this person post threads though?

    We do.

I know it's a sad state of affairs but if we did delete his threads, there would be many others that would follow right behind it. Then all hell would break loose and we would be deemed nazi-moderators or something like that.

There is an ignore list you can use to ummm, ignore people.

Dig deeper in the studies? The final study is usually that misguided fact.. Did you go to high school?

Exactly. Also another thing is as time pass we discover more and more and sometimes find out that what we thought was once correct, is actually wrong. For example anti-oxidants around training was once considered a good thing to do (90's), but now we know that it's counter-productive in regards of training.

Not all...but when I was doing research I was.

Look, the reality is the only way to know how to get bigger than 95% of the population...is to actually have built yourself up that way.

Most of medical science is based on the majority...not the fringe.

Therefore, real science gives us basic facts about what is within normal limits.

To have any sort of clue about how to lie outside of normal comes from experience.

But most importantly, what is now considered "bro science" is straight up bullshit thrown around by half built wannabes who will never be outside of normal.

Bottom line, those built scientists may have the best outlook if you can find one.

Not to mention that much of the research done for our niche is done using regular people or outdated products.

It's like John Meadows said on a recent podcast, you can't do a study on nutrient timing using whey and dextrose/maltodextrin and take anything conclusive away from the results. How can one study nutrient timing and its effects on recovery when using nutrition that's going to take too long to be utilized to exhibit any appreciable effect?

Do some studies with HBCD and proteins broken down into do-and tri-peptides and THEN we'll have a discussion. Oh, wait...lots of us "Bro-Scientists" have BEEN doing that study! That's why I can train balls out and barely get sore anymore.

Science has a place, when it's utilized properly and with the most up to date methods.

Unfortunately, like throughout history, the Bro-experiments are miles ahead of what's being studied in the lab.

Oh, and let it never be said that I don't give credit where due.

It's very counter-productive and I learned the hard way. No muscle inflammation, no growth.
But my skin isn't all wrinkly like most of the old people my age. So.... take longevity or bigger muscles.

This reminds me of a point I wanted to make in the thread about Pro BBs dying early because of steroids. Eating a lot of food puts a shit-ton of free radicals into your body. That causes oxidation, i.e.... aging. You can't win!

To live a long life, medical science has shown that people who consume less food, live longer.
