MuscleMag International canceled again?
I'll post a pic of the letter included in the special fall issue of MMI ASAP, but it looks like they're canceling the magazine again.
The letter begins, "Dear former MuscleMag Subscriber," and includes the statement, "You will continue to receive copies of The Box magazine for the remainder of service left on your MuscleMag subscription."
Well, that blows.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

It's sad Robert Kennedy was such a talented man. He wrote many good books also that helped give me my knowledge has for nutrition and training. It's sad to see his legacy fade away.

MMI became generic & pointless after it was taken over by the other company. What Kennedy created was lost. I'm sorry another mag is gone, though. At least they're trying to compensate for those of us who subscribed. Powerlifting USA just stopped & we didn't even get a letter about it.

Print is dead/dying. MMI hasn't been good for years, and since the relaunch, it's been even less relevant.
It had to happen.
The only way any print will survive is if they have a corresponding web presence and deep pockets.

I had just extended my subscription to 2017. lol
It's cool. Added CrossFit to Rx Strength Headquarters. I'll comb the mag for possible interviews. :-)Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

Robert Kennedy gave body & soul to his magazine. It was one of the most significant aspects of the bodybuilding world, especially as he was able to get along with the Weiders while still offering an alternative to their hegemony. I suspect that their original Canadian nationality gave him a pass. Ben remained in Montreal, as well. MMI covered NABBA & international bodybuilding much better than any other mag. I was able to easily get it when I lived abroad. Kennedy was also instrumental in promoting women's bodybuilding, figure & fitness (he was a bit late for bikini). He was the only publisher who was relatively open to newcomers & did what he could to promote natural training. Our world owes him a great deal.

Tosca Reno ruined that mag. Does anyone remember musclemag from the 90's? It was so good! Great articles and info on everything bodybuilding. Will be missed. Someone should buy it.

I was thinking the same thing curt. There has to be tremendous value in the archived photos. They could start a website selling them or something. I remember reading a book Robert Kennedy wrote and he talked about slowing down and chewing your food really good in it. I have always remembered that because I eat really fast. He was a gift to this sport.
