Post cycle - recovery
After a cycle of anavar, my post workout recovery goes straight to crap. Only takes a couple of days and my entire body feels like I've been run over repeatedly by a truck! Everything hurts. I take glutamine and BCAA already, and I'm one to get DOMS anyway. Any suggestions to help with recovery , especially post cycle? Someone else suggested an intra-workout.

It takes 3 weeks for anavar to clear, so I dunno about a couple of days making a difference. Are you taking an EFAs? Are you eating enough?
I know some have suggested Osta-RX. (SARM)
Also just as an overall flexibility & mobility maintenance are you stretching enough? Consider also some yoga? Good cool down? And basically you may find you need to scale back your training when "off" work w/ what your body is naturally able to support.

Thanks sassy , I do take efa and have been stretching more. I also just took a few days off lifting, which I never do, so hopefully that will help .

"Taking a few days off lifting" = part of recovery. You might step back and look at the longer cycles of your training, and then look at periodization. If you just lift balls to the wall all the time, IMO you will burn out at some point - i.e. CNS overload. Much better too look at a deloading phase or some sort of active recovery. It's a marathon. Not a sprint!

I definitely feel like a new woman after taking. 5 full days off from lifting. It's so hard to do even knowing how crucial it is . I won't make that mistake again now though after seeing and feeling the difference. I was completely burned out, sluggish , tired weak and no energy at all.
