Reintroducing AAS when coming back from an injury
I am forced to take 5 months off training which really sucks. I'm keeping a clean diet with high protein in the meantime. When it's time to train again, how soon do people usually reintroduce AAS? I'm going to use a very small amount to activate muscle memory before going back on my TRT dose.

It will depend on the injury. Most of mine involved surgery so need more info.

Is staying on TRT an option? It should speed the healing process. If it involves the sternum I'd look to igf or GH for cartilage healing too.

I'm still on prescription TRT and never stopped. To be clear, while I appreciate the help, I'm not looking for PED advice. I'm really just wondering how long after people start training again do most people reintroduce them.
No, I had an aortic root replaced. It sucked but I'm fine otherwise (after getting millions of tests)

I probably wouldn't introduce performance oriented doses for at least 3 months after you start training again. It took me at least that long just to get used to training again after multiple (4) surgeries on my leg.

I would get through the initial muscle soreness before hitting the gas so 5 months plus maybe 3 weeks.

I missed 8 weeks or so of TRT after my cardiac arrest and it was brutal. I would just continue an HRT dose if thats what you were on.

Also, what's a good HGH dose to speed up healing?

Guess it all depends on if it's pharm grade or not?
